Dejana Stefanovic is a Serbian footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Norwegian club Valerenga and the Serbia women’s national team.
Dejana Stefanovic was born on July 5, 1997, in Kragujevac, Serbia, FR Yugoslavia. She started playing football at school and joined the local town team to practice and develop her skills.
Dejana Stefanovic started her professional career for the French women’s football team ASPTT Albi, playing in Division 2. For the team, she played one season and appeared in 17 matches. In 2018, she signed with Norwegian club Avaldsnes and made a fantastic performance scoring 5 goals in 16 matches.
In 2019, Dejana Stefanovic signed with another Norwegian club – Valerenga. Since then she is playing for the club, having more than 60 appearances and 19 goals. With the team, she won once Toppserien and twice NM Cupen Women.
Dejana Stefanovic has been capped for the Serbia national team, appearing for the team during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup and UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 qualifying cycles.
Dejana Stefanovic is definitely one of the most talented Serbian footballers and she is an essential part of the Valerenga squad.
