Lindsey Horan was born on May 26, 1994, and spent her childhood in Golden, Colorado, near Denver. Her parents are Mark and Linda, and she has a brother named Michael. 

She went to Golden High School, but she did not join the school soccer team. Instead, she preferred to play club soccer with the Colorado Rush. She began her soccer journey with the Colorado Edge when she was 11 years old.  

In March, at the age of 15, Horan was one of the youngest players on the US under-17 women’s national team. She impressed everyone by scoring 12 goals in nine games. 

In 2012, ESPN ranked Horan as the best college prospect. She had a chance to play for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Tar Heels in 2012, but she decided to skip college and pursue a professional career with Paris Saint-Germain FC (PSG) in France.

Lindsey Horan, a young football sensation, began her professional journey with Colorado Rush in 2012 but only appeared in three matches. She then moved to Paris Saint-Germain FC at the age of 18 in July 2012, where she won the French Women’s Cup in 2015 for her team. 

However, she came back to the United States in 2016 to join the Portland Thorns in the NWSL. Lindsey Horan had an impressive first season with the Thorns and was named the NWSL Rookie of the Year.
