Elin Landstrom is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a left back for the Italian Serie A Women club AS Roma and the Swedish National team. With the team AS Roma, she won the Supercoppa Italiana in 2022.
Elin Linnea Landstrom was born on June 2, 1992, in Norrkoping, Sweden. She was interested in sports from an early age and fond of football at school.
Elin Landstrom made her professional in 2010 for the Swedish team Umea IK, which was one of the best clubs in the country and in Europe. In her maiden season, she played at the UEFA Women’s Champions League. For the football club Umea IK, she played 5 seasons and had 96 appearances and 2 goals.
In 2016, Elin Landstrom signed with Kopparbergs/Goteborg FC for two seasons. In total, she played 43 matches and scored 2 goals.
In 2018, she signed with Linkopings FC and with the team reached the Round of 16 of the UEFA Women’s Champions League. For the five seasons, she played for the football club she had a total of 111 matches.
In 2021, Elin Landstrom signed with Inter Milan to play in the Italian Serie A Women. She played 19 matches for the team but remained goalless.
In 2022, she moved to another Italian club and signed with AS Roma, where is currently playing. The team was already a Coppa Italia winner in 2021 and together with her they won Supercoppa Italiana in 2022. With AS Roma she also has two matches in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
At the international level, Elin Landstrom has two appearances for Sweden U19 at the European Championship. She was also called to the senior team twice but did not appear on the ground.
