Amanda Ilestedt is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Division 1 Féminine club Paris Saint-Germain and the Sweden national team. She is a silver medalist from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics with the team of Sweden.
Amanda Ilestedt was born on January 17, 1993, in Solvesborg, Sweden. She started her youth career at Solvesborgs GoIF and after that moved to Karlskrona FF.
In 2009, Amanda Ilestedt signed with FC Rosengard. Initially, she was playing for Vittsjö GIK on load and Malmo B team, but later became an important part of FC Rosengard, where had 131 matches and 6 goals. She stayed in the team for 8 years.
In 2017, Amanda Ilestedt joined German club Turbine Potsdam on a two-year deal. In the team she had 35 matches and 2 goals.
In May 2019, she moved to fellow German side Bayern Munich by signing a contract until June 2021. She scored four goals from 18 league matches in 2020–21 season, helping the club to win their first league title in five years.
In July 2021, Amanda Ilestedt joined French club Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year deal.
